Hello!
I'm Atreya Paturi

I'm a PhD student in Andrea Pichler's group at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. I am currently working on understanding the role of an endonuclease complex in mitochondrial DNA repair. In addition, I'm interested in deciphering the role of a SUMO E3 ligase on mitochondrial dynamics and bioenergetics in physiological and stress conditions.
My research interests include having a pure fascination with Fluorescence Microscopy, studying Cellular Bioenergetics, Mitochondrial DNA repair, Genomics, and Developing tools for Image Data analysis. I'm a Scientific Illustrator by passion and I work with Research Labs, Universities, and Companies to produce amazing illustrations for Publications, Magazines, and Websites.
I personally enjoy cycling, hiking on weekends, playing volleyball, and exploring new delicacies in and around! I survive for a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening!
